Inchicore College of Further Education Open Day

Inchicore College of Further Education will host an Open Day on Tuesday 2nd February from 1-7 pm.
Prospective students will have the opportunity to speak to staff and students of all courses during the day.
There will be a guest attendance by Minister for Justice and Equality, Frances Fitzgerald at the college.
There will be performances by the Dance and Drama courses, with technical theatre demonstrations by the Stagecraft course.
Applications may be submitted on the day with assistance available from Support Staff.

Many thanks to Tomas O'Donoghue from the School of Engineering in WIT for coming in today to make presentations to the TY class and the Fifth Year group. Tomas spoke about Engineering as a career in general and more specifically about the courses available in that area in WIT.

Information evening for parents in UCC

University College Cork will hold a Parent Information Evening on 
Monday 18 January, 6-8pm in the Aula Maxima, on UCC's main campus. 
Students, parents and teachers are all welcome to attend the Information
 Evening which will include a brief welcome and introduction, covering 
topics including entry requirements, fees and grants and the transition 
to life in third level. This will be followed by talks on degree 
programmes. Visitors will also have the opportunity to visit Information
 Stands and meet with representatives from all Colleges. A full schedule

Carlow IT presentations to Y5 and TY students

CIT live question and answer session

Cork Institute of Technology will hold a Live Questions & 
Answers session for Leaving Certificate students who may still have 
outstanding queries about course details etc. on Tuesday 19th January 
from 4pm - 6pm. The panel that will answer the

- deadine for CAO applications at reduced fee of E25 (after this date the standard fee of E40 applies)

February 1
- main deadline for CAO (and HEAR and DARE) applications

February 5 to March 1
-change of mind facility opens (E10 fee)

March 1st
- deadline for receipt of HEAR and DARE forms

April1st
- deadline for receipt of supporting documentation  for HEAR and DARE

May 5th to July 1st
- change of mind facility reopens (no fee)

August 22nd (expected date)
- round 1 offers
