Philosophy in Irish schools!

The minister for education is looking at the possibility of bringing Philosophy into Irish schools in the near future.

The Faculty of Arts Humanities and Social Sciences presents Graduate Work Experience Talks in which former University of Limerick students from our degree programmes present an overview of their careers since graduating. The evening will cover the following courses:

• BA (Arts)
·      Applied Languages • European Studies
·      Journalism and New Media
·      Law Plus • Law and Accounting  Criminal Justice


Each graduate will describe what is involved in studying and working in their area and the exciting career opportunities they have experienced to-date. They will give an overview of how the skills and knowledge gained in their degree programmes has benefited them in their careers.  There will be an opportunity at the end for people to speak on a one-to-one basis with graduates and faculty teaching on the programmes over

Change of date for WIT Open Day and school presentation

WIT Open Day has been moved from December 13th to January 20th. More info to follow as it becomes available. Sixth Year students will attend.
Also, John Power from WIT Marketing and Outreach will give a presentation to Sixth Years on Thursday the 17th of November.
