An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar at WIT Carriganore

An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar was the main guest at an event to promote the government 2040 National Development Plan. Also present were other members of the government Pascal O'Donoghue, John Halligan and Mary Mitchell-O'Connor. Among the points of interest to those present was the confirmation of the launch of a Technological University of the SE encompassing WIT and Carlow IT pending agreement between the main stakeholders. 

Girls into careers in Engineering and Science careers event

TY girls attended the Girls into Engineering and Science careers event in WIT Carriganore on Thursday March 8^th. As well as attending a number of interesting talks, they were able to visit stands from many of the companies located in the SE which offer career opportunities in this area (see photo)

What is the purpose of the REACH Programme?
